A qualified Cubbi Inspector will complete the inspection by default. However we get you might want to do them yourself and so you can.

If you want a Cubbi Inspector to carry out the inspection, it will cost between $80-$200 per inspection depending on the type of inspection and the size of your property.

The other reason why we charge them separately, unlike traditional property management is because the number of inspections can differ greatly depending on your properties condition and quality of renters and so we don't believe you should pay for those properties that require more inspections.

It depends on the type of inspection and several factors.

As a guide:

Routine Inspection: 1-2 yearly - this depends on the general condition of the property and your renters. You can set your preferences in Management Preferences on how many and how often.

Entry/Exit Inspections: 1 entry condition inspection prior to the renter moving in and 1 when they move out.


Our philosophy is to minimise the need to conduct inspections as much as possible provided your property is well looked after. This is so renters are disrupted less so they feel more at home and you are not paying for inspections that don’t need to be done. By default a Cubbi Inspector carries out the inspection or you can do them yourself following our easy guides.

You set your preferences in your Management Preferences.
By default Cubbi will automatically schedule them and a Cubbi Inspector will carry out the inspection otherwise if you want to do them, Cubbi will notify you when the inspection needs to be done, for you to carry out the inspection following our guides.
