How Cubbi works over the Christmas holiday period

For Cubbi, the Christmas holiday period starts on Christmas eve and ends Monday 3 January, after that we’re back to normal from Tuesday 4 January 2022.

The Cubbi platform will work as per usual over the Christmas break, this means you can advertise your property, find tenants, sign leases and collect rent just like any other period.

Technology doesn’t rest.

Our general support response time is however affected. Usually, our response time is from a few minutes to a few hours. Over the Christmas period, in summary, expect a minimum of 24-hour delay to all general support requests.

Friday 24 Dec: Urgent support only / 48 hour delay to general support

Saturday 25 Dec: Urgent support only / 48 hour delay to general support

Sunday 26 Dec: Urgent support only / 24 hour delay to general support

Monday 27 Dec: 24-hour delay

Tuesday 28 Dec: 24-hour delay

Wednesday 29 Dec: 24-hour delay

Thursday 30 Dec: 24-hour delay

Friday 31 Dec: 24-hour delay

Saturday 1 Jan: Urgent support only / 48 hour delay to general support

Sunday 2 Jan: Urgent support only / 48 hour delay to general support

Monday 3 Jan: Urgent support only / 24 hour delay to general support

Tuesday 4 Jan: Everything is back to normal

In addition to our support response times, some of the processes to support the Cubbi platform are manual, for example, our new virtual Rent Estimates and our Professional Screening service are manual processes completed by experienced people at Cubbi. Expect a 24-hour delay to these types of manual processes.

Everyday manual processes like new user verification and tenant checks (NTD) may have a slight delay.

Late Rent Notifications

Given the number of public holidays and weekends over the Christmas period there are many non-processing bank days. This means it’s likely we’ll see a large number of rent payments taking extra time to reach Cubbi without the fault of the tenant. Therefore late rent notifications to tenants who are between 1 and 4 days late have been temporarily turned off. Further information is here.
